This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic English teacher to join an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school on a full-time basis. The role will include teaching English across key stage 3 and 4.
English is a thriving and successful subject area with a history of achieving strong results at GCSE and A Level. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping to move English into its next stage of development
Teaching Personnel have an outstanding reputation for training and developing colleagues. Therefore, applications are welcome from ECTs as well as experienced teachers.
Role Responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering engaging English Literature lessons tailored to the needs of diverse learners.
* Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the school's curriculum and extracurricular activities.
* Maintaining a positive learning environment conducive to student success and well-being.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
* Strong subject knowledge in English Literature, with a passion for inspiring students' love of literature.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to the school community.
