We are working with a leading UK-based Retail company who are looking to bring someone in to cover a maternity leave in their legal team. The contract is expected to last for 9-12 months, and will be covering for their DPO.
In this role, you will be working on a mix of hands-on work, such as reviewing DPIAs, and higher-level strategic work, leading on key projects and liaising with senior management and other stakeholders. In addition, this role involves the management of a junior lawyer, who covers more of the day-to-day Privacy work.
They need someone who can start ASAP, and ideally be based in their Nottingham office at least 2 days per week, although there is some flexibility on this.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 8 years' PQE (England & Wales qualified)
* Prior in-house legal experience (in any industry)
* Prior experience as a senior privacy lawyer and/ or DPO in a large business
