South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust haveduties are available across the Theatre Departments at both Sunderland RoyalHospital and South Tyneside District Hospital, we provide anaesthetics to awide variety of specialities. The flexible NHSP worker will be expected toutilise skills and knowledge to support anaesthetic practice in an operatingdepartment environment, which may involve procedures performed on both adultand paediatric patients under general, regional and local anaesthetic.
Main duties of the job
Theassessment of care needs, planning, delivering and evaluatin a high standard ofnursing care
Youwill be an accomplished communicator who contributes, implements and evaluatesclinical and professional standards
Theproficient delivery of care to patients
Ensuringsafe administration and documentation of drugs in accordance with HCPCguidelines and trust policies
Ensuringaccurate records are kept in accordance with HCP guidelines and trust policies
Contributingto the safe and efficient running the operating theatre department, throughacceptance of agreed responsibility
Beingan effective member of a Multidisciplinary team
