About the Role:
As an Immigration Associate, you will play a key role in managing a varied caseload and supporting both corporate and private clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Management:
Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing clear, professional advice and maintaining strong relationships.
* Consultations:
Conduct client consultations independently, assessing eligibility and advising on immigration strategies.
* Application Preparation:
Prepare and submit a wide range of UK immigration applications, including:
* Sponsor licences
* Skilled Worker visas
* Spouse/partner visas
* Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR)
* Naturalisation
* Corporate Immigration & Compliance:
Support business clients with sponsor licence management and compliance, including:
* SMS reporting
* Ongoing advisory work
* Assisting with and attending client site compliance audits
* Legal Drafting & Casework:
Draft legal representations, cover letters, and supporting documents to a high standard.
* Document & Case Management:
Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted in line with strict deadlines.
* Marketing & Thought Leadership:
Contribute to firm growth through:
* Writing blogs and articles
* Supporting marketing initiatives
* Engaging in external visibility where appropriate
* Team Development:
Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and paralegals.
What We Are Looking For:
* Law graduate (or equivalent) with strong interest in UK immigration law
* Previous experience in immigration (paralegal or equivalent level)
* Strong understanding of both business and private immigration routes
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases
* Confident dealing directly with clients
* Commercially aware and solution-focused
* Proactive, organised, and able to work independently
