With a history dating back to 1856, this firm has built a reputation for delivering high-quality legal and wealth management services, while maintaining a strong, client-focused culture.The RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Law Solicitor or Legal Executive to join this respected firm’s forward-thinking Family Department. This role offers flexible working options and a supportive team environment.The successful candidate will be confident, structured, and experienced across a wide range of family law matters, including:
* Divorce and separation
* Financial matters/proceedings following relationship breakdown
* Private law children matters
* Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
* Cohabitation and separation agreements
You’ll also have the opportunity to work closely with the marketing team to build your client base and raise the department’s profile.Key Responsibilities
* Manage your own caseload of family matters with minimal supervision
* Provide an exceptional standard of service to existing and new clients
* Contribute to the growth and development of the Family Department
* Maintain financial control of your matters, including billing and cash flow
* Keep up to date with legal developments and regulatory requirements
* Support business development and cross-referrals across the wider firm
* Ensure compliance with the firm’s quality and risk procedures

Person SpecificationEssential:
* Qualified and experienced Family Solicitor or Legal Executive
* Broad experience in family law including divorce, finances, and children matters
* Confident working independently and managing a caseload
* Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
* Commercially aware and client-focused
Desirable:
* Experience with high-net-worth clients, including agricultural and business interests
* Advocacy experience and public speaking skills
* Marketing and business development exposure
* A client following or established network
