Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and highly motivated person to work for an expanding family-run care home on the outskirts of Omagh
Easteden Ltd are seeking a temporary Senior Accounts Assistant with good experience in Payroll.
The main duties will include all aspects of payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, petty cash, residents' accounts maintenance
Key Responsibilities:
Processing all aspects of payroll to include inputting rotas onto clocking system, reviewing clock-ins and investigating discrepancies, processing SSP, SMP etc, processing finalised payroll, sending all statutory reports
Purchase ledger
Sales ledger - Remittance /Remittance Returns
Bank reconciliations
Credit card reconciliations
Petty cash
Direct debit processing
Maintaining residents' personal funds within RQIA and Trust standards and guidelines
Processing orders relating to residents' personal funds, tuck, toiletries
Administration relating to residents' agreements/indemnity forms
Safe Registers/Contents
Requirements
Excellent interpersonal skills
At least 3 years of accounts experience
Strong analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Previous experience in SAGE or similar accounts/payroll packages
Good understanding and knowledge of accounting processes
Strong organisational and numerical skills
Ability to work to targets and deadlines.
The candidate must also have good work ethic, be able to work on their own initiative whilst also being able to integrate into a team.

Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour
