The Role
As Tax Manager, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery and identifying advisory opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a mixed portfolio of personal tax and corporate tax clients
* Reviewing self‑assessment tax returns and corporate tax computations
* Leading on tax planning and advisory projects
* Handling complex HMRC enquiries and technical queries
* Supporting and mentoring junior tax team members
* Ensuring tax compliance deadlines are met
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Identifying opportunities to grow the tax service offering
About You
To be considered for this Tax Manager job in Huddersfield, you will:
* Be CTA qualified, ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)
* Have strong UK accountancy practice tax experience
* Demonstrate expertise in both personal tax and corporate tax
* Be confident managing your own client portfolio
* Possess strong technical, organisational and communication skills
* Have experience reviewing work and supporting junior staff
