The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, your primary responsibility is to maintain a stable and focused learning environment during the short:term absence of teaching staff. You will not be required to plan lessons or grade assignments; instead, you will facilitate pre:prepared work and ensure students remain on task.
Key Responsibilities:
* Classroom Management: Supervise students aged 11:18, ensuring they follow academy behaviour policies and remain engaged with their learning.
* Instructional Support: Deliver pre:set lesson content across various subjects, providing clarity and assistance where needed.
* Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate registers and provide constructive feedback to departments regarding student progress and behaviour.
* Wider Academy Life: Assist with lunchtime supervision, form registration, and support various departments during non:cover periods.

Requirements:
* Qualifications: Educated to A:Level standard or equivalent (Degree preferred).
* Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to young people from diverse backgrounds.
* Adaptability: A quick:thinker who can manage shifting priorities throughout the school day.
