Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional with a background in construction?
We have an excellent opportunity for a seasoned H&S Manager to join a busy main contractor on a large new-build project in Dundee. You will work closely with site teams, contractors, and senior management to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain safety policies and procedures aligned with CDM 2015.
- Oversee risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and industry standards.
- Deliver safety training, briefings, and toolbox talks.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure safety across the project.
- Report on safety performance to senior management.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH National Construction Certificate (or equivalent) and IOSH Managing Safely.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in health and safety within construction, ideally main contracting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead safety initiatives on-site.
