Job Description
3. Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
4. Collaborate with the finance team to produce forecasts and budgets.
5. Oversee cost and variance analysis to support financial decision-making.
6. Provide financial insights to support business strategies and objectives.
7. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
8. Assist in year-end audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
9. Support process improvements within the accounting and finance department.
10. Deliver ad hoc financial reports as requested by senior management.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
11. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
12. Strong experience in management accounting within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
13. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
14. Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
15. Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
16. A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
