Production Operators/FLT Drivers - Waste & Recycling Facility
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated Production Operators to join our client production team and contribute to delivering exceptional product quality, safety, and efficiency.
The site focuses on recycling post-consumer plastics and producing high-quality recycled plastic granules used within sustainable manufacturing. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business committed to environmental responsibility, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Shifts and Hours
* 44 hours over 4 days per week (12 hours shifts including both days & nights)
* 1 hour unpaid break
* Flexibility required during non-production weeks.
* No weekends (May change as the business develops)
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Production Manager in ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Product Safety, Quality, and Environmental procedures.
* Operate Erema pelletizing machinery (full training provided).
* Support team members in meeting production targets and improving operational efficiency.
* Proactively contribute to the development of individual and team objectives.
* Promote cross-training and flexibility across the production department.
* Perform duties safely and in line with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, making improvement recommendations when needed.
* Immediately report any product quality or safety concerns to the Production Manager.
* Complete ad-hoc duties as required by the business (subject to appropriate training).

Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a shift-based manufacturing or plastics recycling environment (or similar).
* Awareness of Product Safety, Hygiene, and Environmental standards.
* Valid Counterbalance Certificate (Essential)
