About your next employer
You'll be joining an established food manufacturing business operating within a regulated, audit-driven environment. This role sits within the technical function and reports directly to the Technical Manager, working closely with NPD, production, intake, dispatch, and hygiene teams.
About you
* Previous experience in a quality, technical, or food safety role within food manufacturing
* Strong working knowledge of GMP, food safety, and audit standards
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage production teams
* High attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on approach
* Confident working independently and providing clear instructions to others
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
* Ability to remain adaptable in a fast-paced production environment
* Desirable: multilingual communication skills
What you''ll do
* Act as a key on-site presence ensuring the facility is audit-ready at all times
* Support and participate in internal, customer, and third-party audits
* Train teams on quality procedures and monitor ongoing compliance
* Monitor GMP, CCP, allergen, and traceability controls across production
* Investigate customer complaints and support corrective actions
* Liaise with external laboratories for testing and analysis
* Review production and NPD records, issuing and closing out non-conformances
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and risk assessment reviews
