As a qualified Teaching Assistant, you are to provide specialist support to pupils learning, behaviour and development including those with special educational needs.
We offer day to day, long-term and permanent roles. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilled Learning Support Assistant looking to inspire young learners. The successful candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm supporting students and teachers. Your responsibilities may include classroom preparation, pupil support, overseeing pupils with special educational needs, teacher support and classroom management.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist support to pupils learning, behaviour and development including those with special educational needs.
* Assist teachers with classroom preparation, pupil support and classroom management.
* Support learning activities and behavioural strategies to help students achieve learning goals.
Qualifications
* NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools / Level 2 qualifications also welcome
* Great ability to interact with pupils and keep them engaged
* At least 6 months of prior experience working in schools
