An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Nurse to join our wonderful team at Medivet Mill Hill.
Medivet Mill Hill is a RCVS accredited practice which has been a part of the Medivet family since 1989. The practice is equipped with the latest facilities including digital x-ray, operating theatre, in-house laboratory, separate cat and dog wards and dentist equipment. The successful candidate will be joining a small but very friendly and dedicated team.
The practice is very accessible with A1, M25, A4 and the M1 all very close to the practice. Mill Hill Broadway station is a 10-minute walk from the practice, with a few bus routes which stop right outside the practice. The branch is on a parade of a few different shops and places to eat also with Brent cross a short drive away with more than 150 shops, restaurants and services.
This is a clinical position working closely with our Vets and nursing team to deliver exceptional care!

This is a 4 day week rota pattern with 1:6 full weekends at Hendon 24 hour.

Role Accountabilities

In this role you will:
* Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
* Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.
* Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
* Deliver patient monitoring and care.
* Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
* Dispense and check medication.
* Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.
* Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.
Your Skills and Experience
* RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
* Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.
* Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
* Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.
* Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
