We are looking for an experienced coordinator to join our team based in Bridgwater.
Location: Somerset
Hours: 45 hours per week
This role is responsible for coordinating Temporary Works on one of England's biggest flood defence schemes, The Bridgwater tidal barrier.
Key Responsibilities:
* Co-ordination of Temporary Works between site teams and designers & all Temporary Works activities
* Ensuring that the various responsibilities have been allocated and accepted by the relevant parties (Temporary Works Designers, TWS and Construction team etc.);
* Management of Temporary Works through the full design preparation and checking processes in accordance with appropriate procedures;
* Advising the permanent works designer of any temporary conditions, or loads, that should be considered within the permanent works
About You:
* You have previous experience working with main contractor in on Civils/Marine projects
* You have a degree qualification in civil engineering; BSc, BA, BEng, MEng, Eng, Tech, MICE, TIStructE, LCIBSE
* You have completed CITB Temporary Works Coordinator Course & have a thorough understanding and application of the CDM Regulations 2015
