We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing for hearings, trials, and meetings. This role requires strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to ensure the efficient operation of our legal needs.
Responsibilities
* Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
* Draft legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, and witness statements.
* Assist in the preparation of case files and maintain accurate records.
* Organise and manage schedules for meetings, court dates, and deadlines.
* Review and summarise legal documents and case law.
* Ensure compliance with legal procedures and regulations.
* Support during trials by preparing exhibits and taking notes.
Essential requirements:
* Law degree or equivalent qualification (or currently undertaking studies)
* Strong research, drafting and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
* Exceptional time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
* Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all legal documentation and correspondence.
Desirable (but not essential):
* Previous experience in a paralegal or legal support role
* Knowledge of insolvency, litigation or commercial law

Pay: From £13,000.00 per year
