About the Role

* Build strong relationships and embedding a robust safeguarding culture
* Support pupils and families to improve attendance and engagement
* Represent the school at multi-agency meetings
* Work closely with our Safeguarding, Welfare and Attendance Lead (DSL), playing a key part in ensuring every pupil is safe, supported, and able to thrive.
* Act as a point of contact for day-to-day safeguarding concerns
* Provide direct casework with pupils and families to improve attendance
* Monitor and record safeguarding information accurately and securely
* Conduct home visits (with a colleague) where required
* Attend multi-agency meetings and contribute to support plans
* Monitor alternative provision placements for safeguarding and quality


About you

* GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above)
* Degree (desirable)
* Experience in safeguarding, family support, or attendance work
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Excellent record-keeping and IT skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
