The role

MINO Process Control Limited is at the cutting edge of engineering process control. Based near Wimborne in Dorset we design, engineer, build and commission process control software for the world’s metals processing industries. Our portfolio of customers includes some of the biggest names in metals production across the world.

Our parent company MINO S.p.a. based in northern Italy, designs, builds and installs rolling mill machines for producing aluminium, copper and steel, ranging from large scale green-field projects to individual revamp upgrades. We provide the process control software that controls these machines. MINO has offices in Alessandria and Vicenza, Italy, Beijing and Tianjin, China, Pittsburgh, USA and Wimborne, UK, 300 employees in total.

MINO Process Control currently has 12 employees, engineers with backgrounds in electrical, mechanical and software systems. Together we form an expert team of process engineers, who produce the high spec, specialised software technology required for the optimal control of a modern rolling mill.

We are looking to enhance our team with bright, enthusiastic new talent - people who will engage in the work that we do, and take it to the next level. Prospective candidates will have attained a relevant honours degree with a minimum grade of an upper second-class honours (2:1). Experience in Matlab/Simulink, control theory, software engineering, and other related engineering disciplines will be an advantage.

Our customers are international - we currently have projects in China, South Korea, Indonesia, India, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, USA, Mexico, and therefore, prospective candidates must be willing and able to travel.

We offer a competitive salary, overtime, work away allowance, private medical insurance and bonus scheme.

If you are excited at the prospect of entering a world of highly specialised process control, and would like to see the world ‘for free’ as you work, then this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for. We would be pleased to welcome you onboard.
