Tyre Fitter – BMW Canterbury

Responsibilities:
* Perform tyre fitting and balancing on various models of cars.
* Inspect tyres for wear, damage, and inflation issues, providing recommendations to staff when necessary.
* Efficiently use tyre fitting equipment and machinery to ensure high-quality service.
* Order tyres from our preferred suppliers and ensure you always maintain the required stock levels.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in tyre fitting is highly desirable, but candidates with a mechanical background outside the tyre industry will be considered.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for working with vehicles.
* Ability to lift and carry heavy tyres and equipment.
* Excellent attention to detail and precision in tyre fitting and balancing.
* Effective communication skills with team members and customers.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
* Valid driver's license.
This is a full-time position of 42.5 hours per week. Standard hours of work will be 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
