This role is crucial in the maintenance of our client's heavy industry manufacturing and production equipment.
Supporting the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Duties include:-
To perform prompt repairs to the plant and machinery, guaranteeing production lines keep running smoothly.
To perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks and to keep records of all actions and procedures
Safely plan and prioritise corrective actions within the maintenance role that arise from day to day operations and from improvement initiatives.
To ensure that all equipment is running at maximum potential to enable the plant to keep running at all times.Candidates suited to this role will co-ordinate and guide contractors on site - ensuring all work is carried out efficiently and safely.
You will assist in the organisation of essential spares, taking into account lead times and costs. Candidates will be educated within a Mechanical / Electrical Engineering discipline. You will have a sound understanding of Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering Knowledge, such as Hydraulics and Pneumatics, bench fitting.
