HR Generalist We are working with a leading charitable organisation based in the City who require an experienced HR Generalist/Co-ordinator for 15 months, covering maternity leave from July 2025. This is a great role for someone who has at least Level 5 CIPD and is looking for a position that touches all aspects of HR / People. The HR function supports a staff of c65 and manages HR operations, recruitment, payroll and Learning and Development, reporting into the HR Manager On a day-to-day basis youll be responsible for: Maintaining the HR database HR Administration and updating the employee handbook Managing on and off boarding Supporting annual salary reviews Preparing, checking and processing payroll data, which is then run by an external provider Administering and updating staff benefits Managing recruitment, including writing job specs, drafting strategies and timetables, liaising with external providers and coordinating the full recruitment process Supporting the organisation's training plan, researching new options, booking and coordinating training and ensuring compliance training requirements are met Health & Safety Advising on Employment Law Ad hoc HR projects Supporting staff with other HR queries as required Assisting the HR Director with HR related projects Our client is looking for someone who has completed CIPD Level 5, has strong HR coordination skills covering a wide range of tasks, and has had exposure to payroll. You will need to be tech-savvy, comfortable to learn new systems, and naturally build strong relationships within the business. This is a 15-month contract, starting July 2025, offering a salary of £38-45,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, along with excellent benefits that include 30 days annual leave and a free lunch.
