We are delighted to be working for a fantastic charity organisation based in Cambridge as they seek to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join them on a part time, temporary basis. This role would be for 12-16 hours per week, and within the role you would report into the Finance Director. This role would offer some flexibility to work from home for the successful candidate.
As the incoming Accounts Assistant, you will be tasked with the following duties, including:
- Processing purchase invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Reconciling credit card statements
- Investigating invoicing queries
- Additional ad hoc duties as required.
For this role, you will have previous experience working within a similar position, with good knowledge of accounting procedures and processes. You will also have good IT literacy, be comfortable using accounting software, and have good communication skills. Xero experience would be preferable but not an essential requirement.
