Create, curate, and deliver exceptional conference programmes for APEX and Future Travel Experience (FTE). Identify leading topics, recruit expert speakers, and shape sessions that deliver insightful, high-quality content advancing the global air travel experience.

Representing airlines, suppliers, and innovators worldwide, APEX drives collaboration, research, and standards that define excellence across inflight entertainment, connectivity, seating, sustainability, and digital engagement.

Future Travel Experience (FTE), part of APEX, drives transformation through events, media, and industry partnerships that redefine the passenger journey. Since 2006, FTE has hosted globally recognised conferences and expos connecting airlines, airports, vendors, start-ups, and regulators to accelerate innovation in customer experience and operational performance.

Together, APEX and FTE empower collaboration and thought leadership shaping the future of aviation.

🎤 Position Summary

APEX and FTE seek a driven Conference Producer with aviation expertise and a strong network of airline and airport contacts. This person crafts engaging content, secures visionary speakers, and produces world-class events that foster innovation and industry advancement.

The producer partners across internal and external teams, transforms insights into impactful sessions, and cultivates relationships that strengthen both brands as the leading voices of airline passenger experience and travel transformation.

💡 Key Responsibilities

✅ Develop themes, agendas, and content for conferences and sessions aligned with APEX and FTE’s priorities: innovation, passenger experience, sustainability, digital transformation, ancillary revenue, and mobility.

✅ Research emerging trends and leaders across air travel, airport operations, airline retail, robotics, AI, and terminal design.

✅ Secure high-profile speakers, moderators, and panellists with relevant aviation industry influence.

✅ Partner with commercial and sponsorship teams to align content with sponsor value and revenue goals.

✅ Coordinate with operations and logistics to maintain high-quality delivery across venue, virtual platform, AV, registration, and networking experiences.

✅ Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote events, attract delegates, and produce impactful collateral.

✅ Engage with APEX and FTE working groups and partner organisations to strengthen industry collaboration.

✅ Analyse post-event feedback, providing insights to refine future programmes.

✅ Build and maintain relationships with senior airline, airport, and supplier executives to ensure APEX and FTE content reflects industry leadership.

🎓 Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of success in event or conference production, preferably within global B2B or aviation trade environments.

• Established aviation industry experience and network of airline, airport, and supplier contacts.

• Proven skill in shaping topical, relevant content for executive audiences.

• Strong project management ability across multiple moving parts, deadlines, and vendors.

• Confident communicator engaging easily with senior executives, speakers, and sponsors.

• Demonstrated capability balancing creative content excellence with commercial objectives.

• Agile mindset thriving in fast-paced, international environments.

• Willingness to travel globally for events.

• Organised, detail-focused, and resourceful approach.

• Knowledge of virtual or hybrid event technologies advantageous.
