Overview
Clark James Insurance Recruitment is working with a leading insurance brokerage in North London that is expanding. We are looking for a senior Group Risk / Group Private Medical Account Handler/Advisor.
Responsibilities
• Manage renewals of SME group risk accounts and private medical plans.
• Review the insurance market and make recommendations to clients.
• Present and discuss insurer propositions with clients, ensuring a clear understanding of underwriting and pricing rules.
• Handle group schemes of all sizes and manage 15–25 renewals per month.
Qualifications
* At least 2 years of experience in PMI as a broker dealing with renewals of SME clients.
* Experience dealing with SMEs business‑to‑business, not only private individuals.
* Proficient in reviewing the insurance market, making recommendations, and presenting insurer propositions to clients.
* Fully aware of each insurer’s proposition, underwriting, pricing rules, and confident in discussing these with clients.
* Experience with group schemes of all sizes.
* Capable of handling 15–25 renewals per month.
* Experience with company dental and cash plans.
* Comfortable with hybrid working; prepared to come into the London office twice a week.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive basic salary plus bonuses/commission, early finish Friday, and additional holiday days on top of the allowance.
