About our client Our client is a leading venture capital investor seeking a Performance Monitoring and Finance Analyst to support the CFO in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of valuations, portfolio analysis, and a broad range of fund finance responsibilities. As a growth hire, you will act as a business partner to senior management, supporting oversight of fund finance, portfolio monitoring, valuations, analytics, and process improvements. What the job involves Take ownership of the quarterly and annual valuation of portfolio companies, applying appropriate valuation methodologies Analyse company performance by interpreting portfolio company data, including board and management packs, as well as other financial and non-financial information Prepare monthly and quarterly investor communications and reporting Support the CFO in the ongoing implementation and development of technology solutions to enhance portfolio monitoring, data analysis, and performance analytics Strengthen portfolio monitoring processes and leverage insights from data in valuations and other business analyses Assist with ad-hoc analysis, including exit scenario modelling and fund performance modelling Review and assess fund-level risks Interrogate company-level data to challenge valuation assumptions and understand the underlying drivers of asset performance Support the CFO with fund drawdowns and distributions Provide assistance during fund annual audit and reporting periods Who we are looking for Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) qualification Strong understanding of valuations and IPEV guidelines Experience in private equity or venture capital is desirable Exceptional attention to detail and analytical ability Proficient in Microsoft Office; modelling experience is a plus Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Self-motivated, proactive, and demonstrates a strong work ethic Engaging and personable, able to build relationships with a broad range of service providers Excellent written and verbal communication skills LI-DR1 You will be redirected to the company’s website – you must complete the application on their platform to apply.
