Job Description – First Line Support Apprentice The Opportunity We are recruiting for a First line Support Apprentice to join their exciting and challenging service desk in Aldershot. The Support Desk supports our customers and partners throughout the UK. The Position Job Title: First Line Support Apprentice Apprenticeship Course Level 3 Information Communication Technician Location: Aldershot, Hampshire, GU11 Working Hours Monday to Friday alternate shifts 8.00 – 4.30 / 9.00 – 5.30 / 9.30 – 6.00 Salary: £12,000 to £14,000 Job Purpose: Day to day duties – · Learning to assist IT / Telecoms support team in first line support. · Dealing with support customers initial calls/emails into the service desk · Learning to do initial trouble shooting · Prioritise based on level of seriousness/urgency of the enquiry and then raising support tickets · Allocating to an engineer accordingly · After a period, time will also be required to go on site visits if deemed necessary and accompany more senior engineers on potential project work/ implementations. Future Prospects Permanent position within the company and working up into 2 nd and 3 rd line support. Knowledge & Experience: Essential: GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English Eligibility Criteria Individuals must have a valid and eligible residency status to apply for this role.
