Responsibilities
* As a Senior Nurse/ Mental Health Practitioner, provide high standards of evidence-based, client-centred care to children and young people with mental health problems within the THRIVE framework.
* Provide interventions, advice, consultancy and supervision to colleagues and partner agencies in line with THRIVE.
* Develop the role in line with national and local initiatives and the CYPMH strategy.
* Demonstrate an attitude that respects and values service users and their carers.
* Embrace the core values of the organisation and adopt the principles of Recovery and THRIVE, including:

Requirements
Essential
* Professional qualification
* Experience of mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions with children and young people and their families
* Excellent communication skills with clients, families, carers and professionals
* Experience in case management and supervision of students as required
Desirable
* Knowledge of specialist therapies for difficult-to-treat groups
* Postgraduate qualification or evidence of further studies
* Experience delivering teaching or training
* Experience in consultation to other professionals and non-professional groups
