Project Surveyor Location: Redditch Salary: up to £70k plus package and benefits An excellent opportunity has become available for a Project Surveyor to join a busy and committed Planned Maintenance team on behalf of a leading Social Housing contractor. You will be supporting ongoing social housing contracts in the Midlands area. This role is ideal for a commercially minded individual who is passionate about making a positive impact in local communities through high-quality maintenance projects. Project Surveyor Key Responsibilities: Lead both pre- and post-contract commercial activities Drive project team performance to meet contractual obligations Submit monthly cost value reconciliations (CVRs) and progress reports Oversee subcontractor agreements and assist with final accounts Manage valuations, cash flow, procurement, and health & safety compliance Maintain strong communication with clients, internal teams, and the supply chainAbout You: To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate strong commercial awareness, experience in cost control and value recovery, and the ability to manage financial reporting. Experience in social housing retrofit projects is desirable; knowledge of SHDF (Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund) is a plus but not essential. You will be a confident communicator who builds effective working relationships and leads by example to support and develop the wider commercial site team. Project Surveyor Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role within planned maintenance or housing projects Understanding of financial reporting and final accounting procedures Experience working within the social housing sector preferred Full UK driving license Willingness to undergo a Basic DBS check as part of the recruitment process Applicants with prior convictions will be assessed individually, and no applicant will be unfairly disadvantaged based on their background.
