We’re looking for a skilled Senior Principal Planner to provide support to the NSIP Principal Planner as the County Council inputs into four Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects. About the Role Negotiate and monitor Planning Performance Agreements. Work with the NSIP Principal Planner in liaising with applicants during the pre-application stage of NSIP development to ensure the County’s strategic priorities are reflected in their design and mitigation. Enable officers through the wider organisation throughout NSIP examinations. Provide high‑level technical advice to partners, developers, district councils and internal teams. Enable and mentor Strategic Planners within the team. About you Planning experience including EIA Development. Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills. Positive working with senior officers, Members and external partners. Previous experience with NSIPs desirable.
