Overview:
Our long-standing client is looking to appoint a BIM Lead to lead the development and implementation of BIM strategy, standards, and processes across the business on a6-month FTCwith the opportunity to be extended.
This is a strategic and hands-on role, responsible for driving BIM adoption, ensuring high-quality model coordination, and supporting efficient project delivery across complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:BIM Strategy & Governance
* Develop and implement BIM strategy, standards, and workflows aligned with business objectives
* Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 and information management best practices
* Manage BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and project-specific requirements
Model Coordination & Delivery
* Lead multidisciplinary model coordination and clash detection
* Ensure model accuracy, quality, and compliance with contractual and regulatory standards
* Conduct audits of BIM models and deliverables
Systems & Data Management
1. Manage Common Data Environment (CDE), data structures, and naming conventions
2. Oversee document control, versioning, and data integrity
3. Support integration between BIM, CAD, and manufacturing systems
