Band 3 Health Care Assistant - East Locality Clinics
Clinic-based position supporting nurse manage clinics across Locality. Driving not essential. Flexible working hours can be discussed. Monday to Friday - no weekends or bank holidays.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the East Locality in the role of Clinic health care support worker. The successful candidate will work as a Clinic HCA as part of the community nursing teams supporting non housebound patients that require complex clinical interventions and do not meet practice nurse criteria. Travel to clinic sites required. Provide a holistic approach to individuals, following care plans and implementing care.
* Experience of wound care, especially leg ulcers, compression therapy, lymphoedema care, and catheter care.
* Accountable for delivering high quality care within health centres.
* Work within the integrated multidisciplinary team (IMT), collaborating with GPs, Tissue Viability and vascular clinics.
