Head Of Service Responsive Repairs (Hybrid) – Bristol
Pay: £465.55 – £659.60 per day. Contract: Full‑time, temporary.
The successful candidate will work in Bristol with travel to other sites. Strong on‑site presence is required; occasional work‑from‑home may be offered.
Responsibilities
* Engage with complex problems strategically, working through a significant backlog of work, including addressing underperforming private‑sector contracts that require focused attention.
* Deliver all aspects of a responsive housing repairs service, including surveying, works diagnostics, scheduling, contractor management and customer care, and improving empty homes.
* Provide confident leadership and clear management across wide‑ranging services to ensure effective strategic development and operational delivery, as part of the Housing Service Management team.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in working with a failing service, with a strong track record of delivering successful outcomes, especially around compliance and repairs, and a clear focus on the customer experience.
