We’re looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to support our production team in delivering high-quality products with minimal downtime.

What you’ll be doing:
1. Providing electrical and mechanical assistance across production and packaging lines
2. Diagnosing and repairing faults quickly and safely to reduce downtime
3. Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and continuous improvement tasks
4. Bolstering the integration of new equipment and technology on site
5. Collaborating with production and engineering teams to maintain high standards of performance and safety
Your shift pattern:
6. 4 on / 4 off rotation (2 days, 2 nights) – giving you consistent time off and work-life balance
Sounds interesting, what do I need?
Well, to get started...
You'll need to have a recognized Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent level Qualification Minimum level 3 NVQ in Engineering.
7. A pro-active approach to preventative maintenance/asset care and a logical approach to fault finding diagnostics
8. You'll want to learn and embrace Health & Safety and Quality requirements and standards
9. To be self-motivated and happy to work in a fast paced environment as a team player
10. A good communicator, engaging and inquisitive
11. Prepared to work 12 hours in a factory environment. It can be physically and mentally challenging
12. Able to cope with lots of days off!! We work 4 on and 4 off, so you will only work half the year, and then get 21 days holiday as well
It would also be useful if you have...
13. Experience working in Food, Pharmaceutical or similar regulated and audited industries.
14. Knowledge and demonstrable experience of RCM, FMEA methods and improvements.
15. Advanced Fault Finding and Root Cause experience and Multi-Disciplined capability
16. Siemens, Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi PLC familiarity and confidence.
17. Experience of Automated processes and Equipment within FMCG environments
18. Improvement project leadership
