We are currently seeking an experienced Document Controller to join a leading Tier 1 main contractor on a major project based in Holborn, London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established construction team delivering high-profile projects in Central London.
Key Responsibilities
*
Manage and maintain all project documentation in line with company and project procedures
*
Administer and maintain the project EDMS (Asite) system
*
Ensure accurate document control, distribution, and filing of drawings, reports, and project documentation
*
Monitor document workflows, approvals, and revisions
*
Liaise with internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure documentation is issued and tracked correctly
*
Maintain document registers and ensure compliance with project standards
*
Support the wider project team with information management processes
Requirements
*
Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Document Controller within the construction or built environment sector
*
Strong working knowledge of Asite EDMS is essential
*
Experience working with main contractors on construction projects
*
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
*
Ability to manage multiple document workflows in a fast-paced project environment
*
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with project teams
