A well-established UK engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Contract Senior Civil Engineer to support the delivery of residential infrastructure projects. This is a hands‑on design role with a strong pipeline of work and flexible hybrid working.
The Role :
You’ll be responsible for the detailed design and delivery of residential infrastructure schemes, working closely with internal teams, local authorities, and statutory undertakers.
Key responsibilities include :
* Detailed highways and drainage design for residential developments
* Preparation and submission of Section 38, Section 278 and Section 104 technical approval packages
* Supporting projects from detailed design through to technical approval
* Liaison with local authorities, water companies and external stakeholders
* Providing technical input and oversight where required
About You :
* Proven experience as a Senior Civil / Infrastructure Engineer within a UK consultancy
* Strong background in residential development design
* Solid working knowledge of S38, S278 and S104 agreements
* Able to work autonomously in a contract role
* Experience using Civil 3D, MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage, AutoCAD (or similar)
