About The Role Role: Chef X 4 REF 88300 Contract Length: 12 months Location: Lincoln IR35: Inside Pay Rate to Intermediary: £33.93 per hour Security Clearance: BPSS Spinwell is recruiting for a Chef for an excellent opportunity within the public sector. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CHEF Operating varied shift working patterns between daily food services, daytime & evening functions and bar ser-vices alongside possible reception and accommodation management duties Operate alongside service personnel & the industry partner (ESS) to ensure catering services are provided to RAF Waddington in accordance with JSP 456 and ESS pol-icy Operate & comply with all relevant statutory legislation and local orders Undertake accurate cash handling and profit protection procedures Undertake stock taking procedure Undertake basic IT input tasks Undertake basic administrative tasks Ensure you are dressed correctly and adhere to the highest standards of hygiene Ensure the correct PPE is worn Adhere to all safe systems of work including UK food safety/Health & safety legislation and ESS safety systems & risk assessments Maintain the highest standards of customer service & hospitality Remain fully current in all required job competencies / KPIs as directed in local orders Maintain a high security awareness and reporting culture SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE CHEF Previous experience working as chef Fine dining experience Previous experience in bulk catering and daily food production Excellent communication and customer service skills Food safety level 2 training City & Guilds 706/or 706/2 qualification / min NVQ in catering & hospitality.
