Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Salary:
£90 - £120 per day (Dependent on Experience)
Job Duties:
* Supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in the classroom
* Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) for SEND students
* Providing one-to-one support to help students with their learning and development
* Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
* Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
Required Qualifications:
* Experience working with children or young adults with SEND
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
* Experience working in a school or educational setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students with SEND
Preferred Qualifications:
* Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
* Training in specific interventions for supporting SEND students
Working Conditions:
* Working hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
* Working in a classroom setting with students with SEND
* Potential for additional training and professional development opportunities
* Collaborating with teachers, parents, and outside agencies to support students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
