Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food safety and production. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards in food preparation and presentation.
Duties
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
* Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain quality standards.
* Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper storage of food items.
* Implement and enforce food safety regulations to ensure compliance with health standards.
* Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance while fostering a positive team environment.
* Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors for quality ingredients.
* Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to enhance the dining experience.
* Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
* Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
Requirements
* Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong supervisory experience with a focus on team management and leadership.
* Culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers.
* Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous.
* A passion for hospitality with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
