Working Hours: 06:00-18:00 & 18:00-06:00, 4 on 4 off

The Role
As Shift Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of your shift, ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and to plan. You will provide general oversight across the factory floor, making real-time decisions to keep operations running smoothly.
Key responsibilities include:
* Full shift oversight within a liquid processing environment
* Managing production using process control and SCADA systems
* Making decisions on the timing and coordination of key activities
* Leading and managing a workforce of 32-50 colleagues per shift
* Labour planning and control to meet production and cost targets
* Driving staff performance through clear KPIs and expectations
* Conducting regular tiered meetings, reviewing performance, output, and issues
* Ensuring food safety, quality, and operational standards are maintained at all times
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience within the food manufacturing industry (essential)
* Experience in a leadership or supervisory role
* Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate and engage teams
* Confident decision-making in a fast-paced production environment
* Comfortable working with production data, KPIs, and performance reviews
* Experience with liquid processing or SCADA systems is highly desirable
