Company Overview:
An international manufacturer of injection moulding tools are looking for an experienced toolmaker to join a growing team, this position has become available to ongoing business and contract growth.
The Toolmaker role and responsibilities:
* Using manual milling, lathes and grinding machines.
* Manufacture, repair and fitting of Injection Mould Tools
* Assist the Production Team in trouble shooting tooling and moulding faults
* Quality checking work and adhering to project requirements
Previous Experience:
* Experience in manufacturing precision engineering components for moulds and tooling
* Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
* Experience with Grinding, Milling, and Spark Erosion machining
* Ability to work to tight tolerances and high standards of quality
* Skilled in tool modification, repair, and refurbishments
* Experience with CAD/CAM programming is a plus
