Purpose of the position: As Senior Site IT Support you will be part of our Liverpool Bay Project (Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage). You will join our team during the construction phase. As Level 2, you will manage and support the implementation of the IT infrastructure to be used by the employees who will come in the next months. After this phase you will manage the updates and coordinate the helpdesk activities.
Responsibilities:
* Follow and supervise the installation of IT equipment with the vendors to make the domain network and servers available
* Support the intervention of external providers for the domain network installation and configuration of any other IT items (WI-FI AP, switches, printers…)
* Identify software and hardware problems and run diagnostic programs or use test equipment to locate source of problems
* Maintain security and functionality through application of program temporary fixes
* Perform application maintenance operations
* Provide technical & infrastructure support for the ICT environment
* Maintain the password, user access and change control procedures ensuring appropriate documentation has been completed and sign off attained
Additional note:
* For the first months, you will handle and solve helpdesk tickets to ensure the new joiners can access all the IT tools. Once a helpdesk is created you will supervise their activities.
What are we looking for?
Education: technical diploma or degree in computer engineering or similar
Experience: 4-6 years in operations of network architecture, infrastructure operations and application maintenance
Technical skills: Networking installation and infrastructure maintenance knowledge
