Fully remote – working from home – UK. Dental designer – a.k.a. Digital treatment – design, planning & support. I’m working with a highly respected client in the dental technology sector, who is looking for a bright and enthusiastic dental technician – with experience of CAD/CAM and dental implants - who seeks a new challenge in the world of dentistry.
The opportunity has come about due to a promotion. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with digital workflows, learn new products, and play a key role in delivering precision implant planning and guide design solutions for a global client base.
Dental Support and Design Technician – the role:
As a Dental Designer, you’ll be responsible for:
* Collaborating with clinicians to propose implant treatment plans and create validated surgical guide designs ready for export (60% of the role)
* Responding to technical and clinical design queries via email, messaging platforms, or phone, ensuring exceptional customer service (20%).
* Troubleshooting and resolving design or technical issues, maintaining compliance with clinical and technical standards.
* Continuously developing your knowledge of dental planning software and CAD-CAM technology.
Dental Support and Design Technician – the person:
Full training will be given but, at a base-level, the client seeks someone with:
* A reasonable understanding of CAD/CAM
* The ability to read (at a basic level, i.e. not a radiologist) X-Rays and CBCT scans
* An understanding of implants and restorations process and protocols
It’s a 37.5hr week, Monday to Friday, but with a focus on clients in EMEA, the core hours will likely be earlier - 8am-4.30pm - with perhaps an option to work earlier (and finish earlier) too.
