Totum Partners is working with a leading law firm to recruit an Accounts Payable Manager. You will lead a team of five, manage the Accounts Payable function, and oversee timely and accurate invoice processing.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead the Accounts Payable team, ensuring invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time.
* Improve and manage the purchase-to-pay process.
* Maintain strong controls and ensure compliance.
* Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and other teams to improve workflows.
* Monitor performance and implement best practices.
* Manage the Emburse system.
* Support and develop team members.
* Liaise with auditors on Accounts Payable matters.
The ideal candidate:
* Has experience leading accounts payable or finance teams within professional services (essential).
* Understands purchase-to-pay processes and invoice automation.
* Is familiar with Chrome River or similar systems.
* Is skilled in driving process improvements.
* Has strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Is detail-oriented with solid analytical abilities.
* Has proven experience managing and developing teams.
