Engineering Supervisor – Food Manufacturing
I'm recruiting on behalf of a food manufacturing business that is looking to hire an experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead engineering activity during shift and keep the plant running efficiently. This is a great opportunity for a hands‑on Engineering Supervisor who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of Engineers during your shift
* Oversee all planned and reactive maintenance activity
* Ensure minimal downtime and support production targets
* Drive a proactive maintenance culture as an Engineering Supervisor
* Support continuous improvement and engineering projects
* Maintain site compliance with health & safety and food safety standards
* Act as the senior engineering contact on shift, escalating issues when needed
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar Engineering Supervisor or Team Leader role
* Background in food manufacturing, FMCG, or another regulated industry
* Strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering knowledge
* Confident managing teams and leading from the front
* Flexible to work rotating shifts or nights, depending on site structure
