What you will be doing Working as part of the Production team, the Production Trainee will support the manufacturing process while developing skills across all areas of production, including CNC and CAD/CAM. This is a development role where you’ll gain hands on experience, learn key processes and build the knowledge needed to progress within the department. You’ll play an active part in supporting day to day operations while working safely and maintaining high quality standards. You day to day responsibilities include: - Training across all areas of production, including CNC machining and CAD/CAM processes. Supporting Semi-Finished and Machining teams with day to day production tasks. Completing internal training and building an understanding of works orders and production procedures. Assisting Supervisors and Team Leaders with operational duties and general shop floor activities (including deburring and cleaning). Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment, following all Health & Safety requirements. Carrying out basic machine checks and contributing to team performance and efficiency. Developing skills, knowledge, and experience to support progression within the Production team. What are we looking for We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hands on and keen to learn. Benefits Salary – National Minimum Wage (18) up to £12.71 per hour depending on age.
