What the Job Involves This role involves joining Cardiff City Council’s CASP, CP, PLO, and Court teams, focusing on child protection cases. Social workers will be responsible for safeguarding children, supporting families to achieve the best possible outcomes, and collaborating with families to develop skills for a safe and happy home environment. You will work in both Intake and Locality long-term teams to address the needs of children on the Child Protection Register, families under Pre-Proceedings (PLO), and court cases. The team offers strong support systems, including experienced management, peer support, training opportunities, and regular supervision.
