Job Summary
Providing bereavement leadership within the Early Pregnancy/Gynaecology service, as the Early Pregnancy Loss Lead Bereavement Nurse, you will play an integral part in the service delivery and development in the field of bereavement care for patients within the gynaecology remit.

Person Specification
Education/Qualifications
* Registered Nurse
* Qualification in Speciality - Early Pregnancy/Gynaecology/Bereavement
* Mentorship preparation programme or equivalent (e.g., 997/998) or on live mentor register
* Competent in standard IT packages and ability to learn new IT systems
Desirable
* Master's level or equivalent
* Recognised leadership qualification or equivalent experience
* Specialist training in bereavement care
* Coaching and counselling qualification
* Commitment to continuous learning and application in practice
Essential Knowledge, Training and Experience
* Understanding of Information Governance and Confidentiality
* Ability to support and lead the team in complex clinical situations
* Experience with families facing life shortening illness, bereavement, or end-of-life care
* Experience of change management/quality improvement methodology
* Experience working in an MDT and across organizational boundaries
* Ability to critically apply learning from national reports and benchmarking
Desirable Knowledge, Training and Experience
* Experience in early pregnancy loss and bereavement care
* Experience in bereavement counselling support
* Experience of involvement in policy development
