Important Note: This is a physically demanding role requiring visits to various construction sites and inspection of buildings throughout the build process, including working frequently at height. Applicants must consider this before applying.

What we\'re looking for
* Excellent people and communication skills, verbal and written.
* Some hands-on construction experience in residential house building.
* Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Keen learner to obtain good job knowledge and expertise through continual professional development.
* Strong interest in house building, learning industry-related improvements, building standards and safety.
* A construction-related qualification or experience would be an advantage, but not necessary.
* IT literate and able to learn new software packages.
* Ability to work as part of a team, with a "Can do" attitude.
* Full UK Driving Licence.

NHBC Building Safety Regulator Framework
NHBC have a dedicated professional team to support staff who require to register with the Building Safety Regulator as a "Registered Building Inspector". This includes the necessary training and development to undertake third-party accredited assessment schemes that evidence individuals\' professional technical competency. NHBC will provide the financial funding for completion of the assessment schemes as well as registration with the Building Safety Regulator.
