Inpatient wards / units are designed to meet the acute holistic needs of service users/patients and carers, in a recovery focused environment. This working environment is conducive to staff development and wellbeing.
Responsibilities
* Line manage and supervise a team of nurses; directly responsible for the clinical and financial performance of a defined clinical area.
* Effectively manage sickness and absence, leave allocation, disciplinary investigations, complaints and local post incident reviews.
* Guide, support, supervise and role‑model response to challenging and emotionally demanding clinical presentations.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experienced qualified nurses with leadership qualities and aspirations.
* Interest in working with Acquired Brain Injury, Personality Disorder, or Challenging Behaviours and/or a gender sensitive service.
