Salary: Circa £43,000 depending on experience

The opportunity:
This role is for a process engineer in the Circuit Card Assembly (PCBA) manufacturing business unit, focusing on high-complexity products. The business is rapidly growing to meet a large backlog, with production output expected to more than triple in 5-10 years.
You will work closely with test, manufacturing, and quality engineers, building strong relationships with stakeholders including operations, design support, and calibration teams.
Role responsibilities:
* Support manufacturing growth and rate increases
* Support Continuous Improvement activities
* Manage Non-Conformance processes
* Interface with design during prototype and production phases for Design for Manufacture (DfM) and change implementation
* Ensure processes and equipment promote a safe working environment
* Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, processes, and equipment
* Resolve issues on the shop floor
* Perform and review PFMEAs
* Develop tooling for manufacturing
* Create and modify machine programmes for PCBAs
What we're looking for:
* Experience in Circuit Card Manufacturing or Design
* Knowledge of PCBA Processes and Technologies
* Motivated and enthusiastic team supporter
* Proactive in process improvements
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (ERP, MES)
* IPC J Std-001 and IPC-610 training beneficial
* Knowledge of Electro Static Discharge prevention beneficial
Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 in technical engineering or craft apprenticeship
OR
* HND or equivalent in a relevant subject
OR
* BEng/BSc in relevant engineering/technical degree
